Experience Matters

Adam Rick - President

In December of 1992, I began my career in the financial services industry at Tri City National Bank as a junior in high school. I started as a bank teller, then branch manager, then I was given exposure to numerous departments gaining invaluable experience over my five years there through high school and college.

In December of 1997, I graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in Business with a double major in Finance and Management Information Systems. I transitioned into a role as a software analyst in the Wealth Management division of Metavante Corporation. In that role I trained financial advisors how to best utilize the software to enhance their clients' overall wealth management experience. During my five plus years there, I also pursued my MBA in finance.

In September of 2003, I moved onto the role as a financial advisor with Piper Jaffray. First - I gained my Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, Life and Health Insurance license, as well as my AAMS designation (Accredited Asset Management Specialist). In 2006, Piper Jaffray was bought out by UBS Financial Services. In January of 2009, I moved my practice to RBC Wealth Management. I continued to provide investment advice, exceptional service, and an objective independent perspective to help clients to work to achieve their long term goals of being financially independent.

In October of 2015, I was presented with the opportunity to help Commerce State Bank start an investment subsidiary. I chose to partner with LPL Financial as the broker dealer for my practice in order to best serve my clients through their institutional channel. While there, I also served a dual role as the Director of Wealth Management for the bank. I was responsible not only for managing the book of business, but also working with the bank's commercial lenders, mortgage lenders and customer service representatives in order to help build up the division.

In February of 2020, Commerce State Bank announced that they were to be bought out by Nicolet National Bank (who did not use LPL as their broker dealer). I have been very happy with everything that LPL has to offer and so have my clients, so I chose to continue that relationship and work directly with LPL. So...

In June of 2020, I started RPM Wealth Management. It was very important to me that my clients' best interests are first. Partnering with LPL Financial was certainly the best decision for my practice and for my clients. Continuing that relationship in order to ensure no disruption of service through one of the most challenging times in our history was of utmost importance. From here I will continue to provide the same superior level of commitment, service and professionalism in order to ensure that my clients are in a good position now and into the future.
